Trivia
The song was co-written in Los Angeles by Alison and “Jean Guiot”. The mysterious co-writer was in fact the Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart who assumed the pseudonym to avoid problems with his publishers. In press interviews, Alison stuck assiduously to maintaining the “Jean Guiot” disguise until interviewers told her they knew it was Dave Stewart…because Dave had told them!
