Alison Moyet first sang with Bob Geldof as part of the Live Aid finale on 13th July, 1985 with David Bowie and Pete Townshend singing Let It Be with Paul McCartney on the Wembley Stadium stage.

However, in 1986, Bob invited Alison to join Annie Lennox and Maria McKee to sing backing vocals on his song, This Is The World Calling.
