French luxury fashion house, Chanel, has employed a classic track to help advertise their classic 11.12 bag.
In a video directed by Sofia Coppola, we see the step by step manufacturing process of the bag – all of which is accompanied by a soundtrack of Yazoo’s Situation.
The 1982 track, written by Alison Moyet and Vince Clarke, has been hailed as “arguably one of the greatest synth-pop songs ever” by Black Book in their feature on the advert.
